The McCall Winter Carnival has a long history. It can be dated back to the bright and fun filled day of 1924 when a train arrived at McCall, carrying many distinguished people including the Idaho Governor, Moore. Known at that time as the Payette Lakes Sports Carnival, there have been many changes to the event including its name since then.
