McCall ID Skateboarding Park

Enjoy a summer afternoon or evening skateboarding at one of Idaho’s excellent skateparks such as Harshman Skatepark in McCall – the largest in the state.

• It’s free to enjoy hours of skateboarding at Harshman Skatepark.
• Coeur d’Alene has a nice, smaller skatepark with a huge quarter pipe.
• The Fort Boise Skatepark is great for longboarding.

Overview

McCall boasts one of the best skateboard parks in the country. Built in 2006, the Harshman Skatepark provides 14,700 square feet of sheer skating fun during the summer. It was designed by pro skateboarder Tony Hawk and is Idaho’s largest skatepark. It has three bowls – one shaped like Idaho – and has been given an overall rating of 8 and a tranny rating of 9. This outdoor skatepark is surrounded by the beautiful mountain scenery for which McCall is known. It’s free to use and there are restrooms and a picnic area nearby. Smaller skateparks can be found in Coeur d’Alene and Boise.

Where to go Skateboarding

• Harshman Skatepark - This is the closest (and best) place for skateboarding while you’re in McCall. With over 14,000 square feet this park will provide hours of fun for avid skateboarders. The McCall Parks and Recreation Department offers skateboarding lessons during the summer for kids who are 5 to 15 years old. 
• Coeur d’Alene Skatepark – North of McCall in the beautiful resort town of Coeur d’Alene is a smaller skatepark. It boasts a huge quarter pipe and a 5 foot metal half pipe.
• Fort Boise Skatepark – This 8,900 foot skatepark in Boise is a popular spot for skateboarders of all levels.  It is also good for longboarding.
