Overview: Here are some of the 4th of July celebrations that are worth mentioning. The first one is known as the Old Fashioned 4th of July at Idaho City. There are parades, picnic and fireworks and this is a great opportunity to know about the mining heritage of the area.

Details: There is the Caldwell July 4th celebration where there are games, a live band, an afternoon car show, and fireworks at dusk. The parades are particularly noteworthy.
In the Old Tyme 4th of July Celebrations there are craft and food booths, a fun run and music too.
Another one that is worth mentioning is the Midvale 4th of July Celebration. There is a annual duck race, and a barbecue and also a lawnmower race.
