Summer

The McCall weather forecast in the summer usually calls for plenty of sunshine, warm days, and cool evenings. The temperatures rarely go above high 80s and usually range from low 70s to low 80s. Nights are cool and pleasant at around 40 to 50 degrees.

Fall

McCall Idaho weather in the fall usually means cooler but sunny days. Golden aspen amidst evergreen conifers make autumn in McCall especially beautiful. Average highs in Sept are around 70, with lows around 35. Highs in October are in the mid-50s, and by November they drop to the mid-40s. By late November there are often several inches of snow on the ground.

Winter

McCall gets over 200 inches of snow in the winter and the mountains just north protect it from extremely cold temperatures. This combination makes it a very popular winter vacation destination. January is the coldest month, with average lows around 4 degrees, and average highs around 28 degrees. Nearby Brundage Mountain gets over 320 inches of fresh powder annually which makes for excellent skiing and snowboarding.

Spring

During the early spring there is still plenty of snow on the ground, but by late spring much of it has melted. Plenty of sunshine, mild temperatures, and blooming alpine wildflowers make this a very pleasant and beautiful time of year in McCall. Average temperatures in May range from lows around 34 to highs around 66.
