If you’re planning to visit the beautiful resort town of McCall, there are several ways you can get there. Regardless of the route you choose to drive to McCall, you will enjoy some of Idaho’s most beautiful scenery. McCall has a small municipal airport that allows you to fly into town. McCall also has a Greyhound bus terminal, providing another options for McCall transportation.

Driving

There are three different driving routes to McCall. You can take Hwy 95 south from Lewiston through Grangeville, or Hwy 95 north from Weiser. You can also take Hwy 55 north from Boise. The drive from Boise to McCall is about 106 miles.

Flying

The Boise International Airport is the closest commercial airport. Salmon Air, McCall Aviation / McCall Air and Gem Air fly from Boise to McCall. These flights usually take about 30 minutes.

Car Rentals

McCall has at least one car rental company. It provides 24/7 pick up to and from the airport for no additional charge. You might want to consider renting a car if you plan to explore the area outside of McCall, but most places in town are within walking distance.

Public Buses and Shuttles

McCall Transit provides free public transportation throughout the town 7 am to 7 pm daily. Most of the hotels in the area offer free shuttle service to and from the airport for their guests. There are also a few local companies that provide paid shuttle services.
