  • Tamarack Resort - Just about 9 miles southwest of Donnelly, near the western edge of Lake Cascade, is beautiful Tamarack Resort. Play golf, mountain bike or hike on the many trails, or experience the thrill of a zipline tour during the summer months. In the winter, you can ski, snowboard, snowshoe, or just enjoy a hot drink or meal at the beautiful lodge there.
  • Gold Fork Hot Springs – Open year round, this natural hot springs is a great place to stop and take a relaxing soak while surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding forest.
  • Valley County Museum – This museum is in nearby Roseberry, just a few minutes east of Donnelly. It contains many interesting artifacts used by early pioneers.
  • Lake Cascade – Idaho’s fourth largest lake, Lake Cascade offers year round recreation including ice fishing during the winter and fantastic sailing in the summer.

Getting Here

To get to McCall from Donnelly, take Hwy 55 north. It is just over 12 miles to McCall. On the way you may glimpse beautiful birds including osprey and bald eagles. If the weather’s nice, stop and have a picnic at Upper Payette Lake before you head into McCall.
